Last couple days...

We had the Draisk party of two out today in some very rough conditions. Fishing was nothing short of awesome today though. Left the inlet at 7 and fished till 12 calling it a day in then in the rough seas. Never went too long without a bite today fishing the same area where we left off the other day. We boated 2 wahoo today in the 40 to 50 lb range and a yellowfin in the 30 lb range. And FINALLY some dolphin have arrived. Been waiting all year for them . We boated 8 or 9 today the best going 52 lbs. Never thought i would say this but thank God for the green hornets.

We left the dock a little late today at 10 due to very rough conditions in the inlet. We were not able to fish where we left off yesterday due to extremely rough conditions. Since we were forced to fish the south end of the island we decided to drop for some snappers as well as doing a little trolling. We managed to get 1 wahoo out of 2 hooked and jumped off a few dolphin. Tomorrow we will be able to fish back up north and i expect great results.

Capt. Joe

and it seems to continue...

today's report:

Fishing in the Bahamas has seemed to take a turn for the better in the past week or so. Our catches have been very good the past few days. It seems the past few cold fronts have stirred up the fish . Today we had a great morning boating 6 dolphin,a wahoo , an also jumped off our first white marlin of the season. Finding the flying fish has been the key the past couple days as the normal haunts we fish have been vacant . Today we had all our action on the NE part of the famous San Sal hump. Normally we always concentrate on fishing the SW part of the hump. We also had a couple of wahoo sharked in the same area. Looking forward to tomorrow as usually this time of year makes for the largest wahoo.
