I was excited until I read some of the details - doesn't float - seems like it water resistant not waterproof. You've got ask is it worth risking your life to save 100 or 200 dollars. Granted it is better than nothing.

Please put any questions you'd like answered up here and I will do my best to get accurate responses to them. I've been on the phone with REVERE a couple times today about this product. We are still learning it too....i did see that it says it does not float, but i also saw it was good down to 10 meters for 5 minutes. I would incorporate this unit into a life jacket set-up I think.
