Really no preference, have one lever drag setup now. I agree with what your saying in terms of trolling = lever, bottom fishing = star.

Looking for opinons on either. Deceding on which one to purchase, main use would be inshore fishing, fluking the deepwater, stripers in the bay, and hopefully this year maybe try sharking inshore. Thanks
