its really annoying to know that i spent 160.00 dollars on a permit for brig and to watch at least 20 trucks on the beach today without one ! i dont mean to sound like a #itch but i pay to be on the beach from jan1 to dec31 when do patrols start march,april,may!!! then give 2or3 months you dont need a permit for and lower the price . im sorry its just not fair i take a halfday off work to get down brig before they close to get my permit for what to have the joy of watching the othercheapa$$es use the same beach i pay to use :huh::huh:

I hear ya and get frustrated as well...just keep in mind that the $160 goes to help the town and beaches and the police ticket for not having a pass is something upwards of $250. Its good karma for anglers to buy the pass and then even pick up the tournament passes for $20 in the spring and fall so you can drive the whole beach.

The "permit jumpers" will get whats due to them one day.

no one is supposed to be driving on the front beaches anyway. that is where the problems start. only time to drive on the front beaches is with an extra permit for the riptide charity tounament.

the brig police will be patrolling a lot more this year
they finally realized how many were not buying permits and they sure don't like losing all that revenue!
they might get away without getting caught early in the year....but then again they might not.
i ain't taking the chance of having to pay a big fine and then still having to buy pass!

thats what i said at least i had my permit i know last years is still good i looked for that they had neither permit :huh:i guess i just came home all wound up about it and had to vent:argue: and this was the best place to do so . this cabin fever is making me nuts

I haven't had a chance to get to Brig. to purchase new permit yet. my old permit is good to end of week. Is there any way to mail Brig. money or do you need to be in person? I don't see myself getting there this week so it looks like I'm going to spend the extra $15.00.
Does the blue building open in march or do you still go to city hall lobby for permit?

You cannot mail them the money I don't think the blue building opens till april. No rush anyway, big bass won't be there till may

yes it does.
tried to get them to let police issue permits but no go.
other towns let police sell permits 24/7.
makes it a lot easier as you can get your permit nights or weekends.
