What do we need to have this year and what do we need to pay for as far as New Jersey saltwater registry and the National .I paid for the federal last year then found out that i dindt have to :huh:

If I buy a Delaware saltwater license do I also need the New Jersey registry? I plan on fishing the Delaware bay (both sides) and the ocean and back waters in Jersey.

If you fish in NJ you need to register.

If you go offshore and target pelagics you need a federal HMS permit for the boat.

If you fish NY waters you need to reg with the DEC, it's free.

Just like if a Jersey guy fishes Delaware they have to have a Delaware license.

wish they would start to charge like a $20.00 fee to fish in NJ

maybe then fish and wildlife would have the funds to hire some new CO's to take down all the poaching going on in this state
