hey bro congrats on ur first build. ok so first u seal the plug befor u do anything..there are alot of seaking options. since u are only doing a few plugs i would just go to home depot and get a wood sealer you dont really need any high end builders seal if ur not selling..after sealed i prime with primer spray paint (any willl do) let dry after dry paint ur fav color..after paint dries wire the plug. if its ur first time one wire wont do lol lol...luck for u i dont live to far if u need extras i have them...after paint dries epxoy time..i recomond devcon 2ton 30min (not 5 min) any ques feel free to ask

i dont think paint primer will seal the wood or if it does it wont penatrate and the first scrach it will be unsealed..but if u just wanna have fun and get it donr it will work just fine....let me know when ur ready for another kit and i will make u one up
