I do not know but I did well in march while waiting for the water warm in other places.

I usualy start fishing Oyster Creek power plant in a few weeks. Some good bassin there and winter flounder, to bad its closed. Ill probably be fishing there during my christmas break. Ill tell ya how i do

closed? i thought the closing was proposed to be sometime in 2006? from what i heard a guy was catching small drum there about a month ago.thought maybe the stripers would start stacking up there with the temp drops.

The Plant is not closed but fishing is restricted to the east side of the Rte 9 Bridge only.. Dropping BloodWorms (If You Can Find Them)
in there is a favorite late late Winter early Spring tactic...

thanks guys.was thinking about giving it a go.we did good last winter(jan.) with clams.bloods too exspensive and winter flounder gave us the strip.
i might just keep hitting the woods.just bagged a big ol' bone head and i dont see myself recovering from hunting fever.

Theres resident stripers in there all yr round. Ive caught a few in early march and I have definately seen them crashing bunker schools in december also. There are also blues, weakies, and big herring in there all yr. round. Ill probably be giving it a shot next week.

I am going to give it shot between now and the first. Is it March 1st yet.

Yep, it very well might be the best place before the season ends in the back.. Good Luck Guys..
