Hi Felleow Barners, I'm sitting here in work with no Chart in front of me & was trying to find out how far the Old Grounds are from Cape May Inlet ????? Also is it within Delaware state lines do I have to abide by Del. fish Regs.????Any help appreciated !!! Thanx --

I think it's around 20 NM from CM. Not sure about the regs.

Its approx 20 miles depending how far S you go. I believe that since its in federal waters,size & bag limits goes to home port(port of entry). So even though a longer run Leaving from Cape may increases bag limit and reduces size(del 17.5 4 fish i think)

The Old Grounds are ientified on most charts as a single location although there is a lot of natural structure in the area of the "DB" bouy. Lots of rigs and lead on hand is recommended. Water depths of over 100 feet.
E.G 38.40.0/74.50.0, 21 to 28 nm from the bell.
