Any opinions from those who have used this lure for offshore fishing (tuna, wahoo, dorado) or if it produces or not would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

the rapalas are far superior to any of the other plugs i have tried. the track great! got some really nice mahi on it last year. no tuna or wahoo yet.

they are great when you dont want to run a planer or zwing.

Beaver the x-rap catch plenty of yellowfins, have bailed out more then 1 trip when I couldnt get them up to hit a bally or a bar
Rapala also sells the Williamson brand of lures. They released a lure (sorry but forget the name) that comes with a self postioning eye for speeds upt to 10 knots and a plate resides inside the lure. Through wire is a wire to hold it all together. This lure has a whole plate to handle the force. Look at their website for mor einfo. It is a plastic billed plug like the Rapala Mags.
