Put the boat in yesterday for my 2 month stint up north before moving to Manasquan for the summer. After all the rain I didn't have high expectations but gave it a shot. One of my buddies grabbed some bait and we put in at Atl Highlands. I hadn't planned on getting bait - was hoping to find bunker or troll but the bait was a good idea because we saw no signs of life. Set up and had slow but steady action for about 4 hours. Ended with 6 or 7 fish and my friends wife wanted a couple for the table that we kept. Great first day to the season and my 8 year old nephew got another nice bass. Pretty cool watching the tide change from clear to chocolate milk. Left the boat in a slip and we'll be up on the bay till mid to late June. Name of the boat is Reel Time on the regular channels.
