Raymarine $1000 rebate
I just got a e-mail from Raymarine with there new promotions. One of which is a $1000 rebate and a free sat weather radio with the purchase a C140 wide screen. Sounds like a great deal, but also makes me wounder if they are planing on upgrading or discontinuing that model so they came up with a good offer to get rid of them.
I bought an A65 in 2008 as a replacement for the really old unit in my tower. It was 50% off and had a $150 rebate at the time, because they were about to release there new A series. The unit works perfect for what I use it for (I don't use my tower very often) all in all I only paid about $500.
If anyone is in the market for a new unit I would definitely look at the C140w promotion.

The economy is in the sheeter, nobody is buying anything especially luxury items and they need to move inventory. The outlook is not looking good and this is a way to get a new customer.
Raymarine is in bad... that's for sure... Sometimes you have to ignore profit margins to keep sales figures up, and employees standing on the line.
The new products are fairly new, and I don't think they are going anywhere yet.
