IT AIN'T OVER TIL IT'S OVER, AND IT AIN'T OVER!

Join all your fishing friends on December 1st as the Pennsylvania Chapter of the Recreational Fishing Alliance rallies for our last meeting of the 2005 season at the West End Boat Club, in Essington PA (right near Philadelphia International Airport).

With so many major fisheries issues still up in the air for next year, this is a very important meeting of the minds as we lay our strategic plan for 2006. Our Board will fill everyone in on where we are from a policy standpoint, and answer questions from the membership.

Then it is on to our continuing speaker series with two great sources of fishing information that everyone can learn from.

First, the PA-RFA welcomes Jim Hutchinson, Jr., the managing editor of New Jersey and Delaware Bay Edition of The Fisherman Magazine. Anyone who has heard his presentation on The Fall Run from Sandy Hook to Cape May has caught more fish, and like we said before, It ain't over..

We are also proud to bring you Captain Bob Meimbresse from Down Deep charters out of Cape May, NJ. The Down Deep is a 40' Duffy Sportfisherman out of Utsch's Marina, and has a strong reputation for putting charters on the fish! Come listen to Captain Bob, and you will know why!

Gather your friends, and their friends! Throw them in the back and head to West End Boat Club. The meeting officially starts at 7:00, but those in the know show up early to chat with friends, tell a few lies, fill out new membership forms (although we welcome all lurkers, even if they have not joined), and get a good seat.

From whichever way you are coming on 95, take the PA-420 Exit 9 toward Essington. Merge onto Wannamaker Ave. Continue a short distance (less than a mile) to West 2nd St, Turn right. End at 500 W. 2nd.

Looking forward to seeing you on December 1st !

We are going to have a Furuno Rep. there as well. He will be discussing the proper use of fishfinders and chartplotters. Don't miss this meeting. If u use your fish finder on automatic your need to attend. Your will learn to maximize the power of your unit.
