[Fish Hole]

Is it required that you pay sales tax on your boat slip? I thought that boat slips were exempt from this. Any insight please and where I could find it in writing.

I don't pay tax on my slip, but do pay tax on the winter storage. One of the guys at the marina told my I don't have to pay tax for the silp because my boat has a cabin and hot and cold running water, so the boat is considered a residence and is tax free.

Same here. No tax on the slip, but yes on winter storage.
