sea forecasts looks like 1 ft or less and sunny on saturday for the 1st striper trip..good reports coming in ..now is it bunker or fresh clam for bait? i'm going to lower bay maybe the drum fish are there..

I'll be out. The boat lives around Cape May, but I'm thinking about running the F150s and headin up the bay. Maybe up near the Maurice river.. Haven't fully decided yet. I'll be taking out a couple guys that have never caught a striper before, so I'll prolly try and hunt them down but my plans may change.

its bunker in the upper bay and ship john area but when i was in cape may it was clam we always used ..both places seemed to do good w/ both baits..i like the clam in the lower bay hoping for drum too..it seems easier to chunk with bunker..either way game on ..its time for some nice fillets

I am planning on heading out of Cape May Saturday for my first DE Bay fishing experience. I plan on hitting the Lower Bay and doing some bunker chunking.
