Brian said Squan and gave away the exact spot. :D

I hear it is decent after a rain when the water is falling. It is tough wading along that river which makes long rodding difficult. Plugging the shoreline is probably a good bet. Small rapalas and Yo-zuri's.

Every so often I get one or two. A few years ago I had several in one day late in the fall.

I had heard that rumor also, but to think a trout ran out to the Sea in central NJ and went south and through delaware bay, up the delaware river, up the schk river. He would have to be one super trout who sucked down alot of salt and miles.

sea run trout are no secret on the "Squan...the Div of fish and game have been stocking them there for some time in hopes of creating a run....the secret is the upper river "spots"...they are more closely guarded than the Manhattan Project...
