Left the Manasquan Inlet Sunday about Noon Fished until 6:30 made the run South to the Seaside Heights Pier. Water temp was around 52 wind started to settle down as the day wore on. Tried to troll up some stripers using stretches red/white and shadds in chartreuse. caught some blues and got tired of replacing the shads. Decided to look for birds and found them working just North of the pier. Drifted through the bait where the birds were working and picked up more blues. Not a stripper in sight. Guys back at the barn said the strippers were being caught of the pier from Tuesday through Thursday and they were mostly all slot fish but in some pretty decent #'s. Going to try and get out this Friday anyone have any suggestions leaving from the Manasquan? Boat comes out of water day after Thanksgiving maybe a couple more trips left weather permitting. Time to head south to Florida boys. I'm thinking about planning a trip to Jupiter inlet in January looking for Sailfish anyone have any suggestions for a charter in Jupiter Inlet?
