The ADAM BOMB II had two charters aboard today.

Our morning group was Leon's private charter, and Leon, Chris, Matt, and Rich had GREAT fishing! We fished the Cape May rips with bucktails on the flood tide, and had FORTY-NINE stripers to 38"! The bite was intense, with lots of multiple hook-ups on nice fish!

Our afternoon trip was Brad Straub's private charter. Aboard were Brad and 13-yr. old ####. These guys did an excellent job of putting fish in the boat! Fishing the ebb tide, Brad and #### caught THIRTY-FIVE stripers to 33"! Once again, the action was very good!

The water temperature was 51 degrees, and the spot is no secret. There are plenty of boats around us. Can't wait 'till next time!

Yo Adam,
Way to go!!! Keep those reports comming I look foward to reading your reports and how many fish you boat as well. Why don't you let Chumstain, seadated and Brian Morton charter you for an entire day so they can learn how to fish the rips and actually catch fish then maybe they won't be so envious of the numbers you post.

Counter Proposal to name a few today only managed a tops of 30 fish for one boat. So I ain't in too bad of company in the art of not being able to striper fish. I'll stay in that group since I have know most of them for up to 13 years in this business. ;) but thanks for the suggestion.

Come to think of it Little D I think I may set up a seminar for the whole Cape May Charter Party Boat Association and Adam and Skip can come over and give a lesson. I know that would be a big draw in the Marlin Tuner Club. They are all amazed that the Association is being out fished every day

I fished next to adam on Sunday, and I saw him put his guests on fish every single drift. Double and Triple hook-ups when everybody around him was picking at them. So what did I do, I mocked his drift pattern and Bam double hook-ups. It's not my business to tell you how he does it but this guy is awesome. I'm not saying he's far supperior to any other Capt. I'm just saying I saw first hand how this guy fishes the rips and he produces.
Also, thanks Adam for asking us if we were hooking them also. I thought that was classy.

Yep, Adam went out of his way to help us out sea bass fishing. Asked us if we were catching also to make sure we'd get fish. I don't tuna fish, but I'm sure if I e-mailed CHUMSTAIN et al they would help all us guys out also.

Just unfortunate that some guy decided to turn captain against captain for his nightly entertainment. :(

Adam are most of the bass you have been catching shorts? The reason why I ask is that we have been catching tons of shorts in the Ocean County area for a week or so now and have not seen many decent fish. It is more like a December pattern than mid November. I was wondering if many of the bass are migrating offshore and through Cape May or they have yet to push onto our waters.

I fished with Adam on his afternoon trip and had a great experience. From my perspective he was very focused on making sure that we got action. We started out at one spot that clearly was the fleet's choice fishing grounds and successfully hooked into a few stripers. But Adam made several moves constantly trying to find the location where the fish were holding. The boat had initially hooked into 9 fish by that point working the different locations. By all accounts most people would have felt that that was a pretty good day. But our Captain wasn't quite satisfied. Within an hour and a half we found the spot and the bite was on. We were pulling up fish on just about every drift and there were two or three occasions we had triples. Action was solid. I want to acknowledge Adam's effort to provide us a good day. For many that fish the rips the experience can be taken for granted and the Captain can add to the fun or take away from it. Adam clearly added to our day. Thanks again -- Brad

Twin D's,
I'm not trying to turn captain against captain by any means. It's just ridiculous when some captains are trying to tell other captains how to post their reports. Some captains report the number of fish they catch and some don't so there's no reason for the captains who don't to cry about the ones who do. Maybe the little debbie and the chumstain should put on a dress before they sit down in front of the computer.

Little D,

I was posting as a concerned member of the Barn. I apologize for the tone of my post.

I think this is an issue that these guys will have to settle amongst themsleves in some fashion or other.
