Today we had a tuna trip with with Ed Borneman, Gentrie, Chris Burner, Skip and myself.

We headed out around 2AM with bright stars, and slightly bumpy condititions. We arrived to our first stop around 5AM anchored up with some really nice marks and missed a fish, then nothing.

We made another move, and Chris had a hit right away on a jig....after that non- stop action on jigs, butterfish and live spot the rest of the trip, we actually left them biting...We had 14 bites with the biggest bluefin being a fat 61"er which weighed around 145 pounds and a nice bonus yellowifin around 50 pounds, Gentrie boated a big old toothy bluefish! Great job, and a fun trip guys!!!

We fished between the 20 and 30 line in 120 ft. of water...They hit jigs, butterfish, and live spot. Water was bumpy on the way out, then flat the rest of the trip. Temp was 99.9 on our fishfinder?!?

Excellent guys- now please send them up into the mudhole. Have skippie stick his face in the water and scream like a mother and tell the fish to head for the mud buoy or monster ledge or some other place my 23 footer can get too.

catch em up
