Well, its that time of year when the fluke leave the back bays and stage in the inlets and beach fronts. All I heard this past weekend was fish were caught everywhere from the back bays to the willmington canyon. For me and my charters I must admit, this was the best fishing of the month so far. Sat was the best as we heard big fish were being caught at the old grounds. Mark Gatton, Wilson,Schaffer, Jack, Straw hat guy, Mike from n. jersey, and Len Fenimore, joined me on the STANLEY ROSE for an hr and a half ride to the old grounds."A long way to go for fluke", I say. But it was worth the ride as we proceded to fill the fish box with BIG FLUKE. Every drift was incredible as all the fish caught were 2lbs or better. We ended the day with 38 in the box with 15 fish over 5 lbs and the biggest around 8 lbs caught by Len which won the pool. I must say a very impressive box of fish. SIZE WIZE THANKS GUYS FOR COMING AND AN ESPECIALLY TO CHUCK WHO FINNALLY CAUGHT HIS LIMIT! I hope we can duplicate that trip. Captain Steve London STANLEY ROSE FISHING ADVENTURES

Next case, there are not many striper posts this time of year, and most of us are tuna fishing and the cows are elsewhere.

Now 38 flounder????? Sounds like you over did it, and should of quit sooner  Imagine all that cleaning!
