Hi Guys,

New to the site. Been a long time reader. Fish outta Barnegat Inlet mostly.

Doing a trip on the Stanley Rose out of Cape May and wondering if you had any input on the boat/captain.

Second the plug for the Stanley Rose. Captain Steve is an excellent fisherman. It's a "no frills" operation and not the fasted boat around, but he always finds fish and is a lot of fun. Just watch out for Murphy the dog, he snaps at the eels (which is good luck). Are you fishing on Sat. or Sunday?

I mate on the Stanley Rose just about every weekend. Capt Steve is a great captain and will definitely put you on the meat. We have been catching upwards of 50 fish on recent trips. And Murphy is the "fishin dog"! We're trying to figure out how to make a fishing rod for his collar!!! The boat is a single screw detroit diesel and we cruise at roughly 14knots, but she's a good, seaworthy boat. Good luck out there guys!! Good luck Sunday Fritzy!!
