Where will you start your 2010 fishing season and when? I'll probably start in the back, second week in March unless the reports begin in the wash. Thanks, and wherever you start, good luck in 2010.

ice fishing the third week of february around huntingdon county
technically I started 20miles offshore chasing tog,but I've already been bassing a couple times and have caught my 1st bass of 2010 already, but i'll be in the back march 1
Already started - mackerel
Yup, Same here - filled my chest freezer already - Cod beginning of Feb then off to central PA for a little ice fishing mid Feb............

I would have done a SeaBass trip by now but you know how that goes these days......
Thanks guys, I'm living vicariously through you.
A local stopped by last evening to check my nets for some food for his aquarium. One net with no bait had thousands o shrimp in it. The net with bait had some shrimp and even some shiners in it. May not be a rod and reel but every time I pull the nets in I'm fishing. It's fun because you never know what will be in them.
I must be doing something wrong. I thought that this was still the 2009 season, so I never stopped fishing :huh::huh:
We'll start chasing the tog back in and practicing fluking for the NO BONES tourney in mid to late march, weather depending;). I hope the tourney is on opening weekend again, that was fun last season. For bass,I like to wait until the topwater bite starts. Other than a random sharking trip or two and the duke of fluke, I want to dedicate this season to the wrecks.
Never stopped.
Just slowed down.
And will start back up in full swing around april for flounder in my kayak.
I will start when the boat goes in, Mid april. Tog and Stripers will be targeted.
Thanks, I'm getting juiced just reading these. Spring training just three weeks away.

You gotta be like the Dos Equis dude and live vicariously through yourself.

I start on the bass right on the opener in March out back. Slow pick for the first couple weeks but if you find some bait there will be bass. I start catchin fish consistently around the third week and my first legal fish sized start to chew in the last week of March. There are more than handful of spots I could head to for some better early action but I stick to my turf and watch the season unfold and close each year.

Lookin for strip bait tomorrow night though.

Would have at least 2 offshore sea bass trips by now. Am trying to get a group of friends for cod, either Walshes or Viking in Feb.
See you on the way to DC Tony.

Another human being living vicariuosly through me requires I know your story. I would not feel good posting where you may be an agent luring me into a vicarious situation. Are you a 14 year old gril?
Do you like fishing?:D
phil, you need to lighten up. Just trying to ease the fishing jones. I think your more of a Facebook guy,or girl then a Barner. Being that paranoid is not good for your health. Try bowling.
depends if we can get our boat fixed...and be able to put it in the water...we will....if not possibly striper season who knows...I will be upset if we miss the season :(
will start in early april for fluke and bass, and no doubt trying to catch weakies unsuccessfully.
