Guys,
Me and dad just got home from a fine meal and visit at the yank hacienda. Gotta tell ya mrs. yank makes one fine key lime pie!
Anyway, john and i were sittin' in the assassin's den talking about life in general when he produces a brand new Colton Tradewinds 8 wt. He then tells me it's mine, the guys on the Barn chipped in, wanted to let me know they were thinkin' about me. Not gonna lie, I lumped up and admit to being guilty of having a tear or two roll down my cheek. To say I was touched is an understatement... It means a lot to me that you guys think enough of me to perform a gesture like this. I was really floored...
All I can say is, Thank You! Even you, Pete....

This was not easy to accomplish, and was the subject of many a table pounding dicussion. There were a couple guys that wanted to go back in the old threads, and find the picture of John Schmidt's legs, and give you an 8 X 10 color glossy of that picture suitabe for framing. We sent people to their houses, and threatened their kneecaps, and in the end sound judgement prevailed.

She's a beaut Harry. And I know you have the flies to use it. Harry loved it guys. He was very touched. Just couldn't believe it was his, I almost kept it and said I was kidding but I knew you guys would find out. We had a great time with the Harry's. As I knew would happen, my wife absolutely loved the both of them. I just so much enjoy spending time with Harry's pop. Harry got a nice tour of the "museum ala Yank" fossils, rockets, books and even an Atalatl. It certainly won't be the last time we have our new friends over. :thumbsup:

Yeah, Harry even invited me down to his place in the summer. Said he would put some fresh straw on the tool shed floor, but I know my way around West Chester pretty well, and I am sure I could sniff out some Key lime pie, and pea soup
