I want to make a swimmer style plug. I have all the components but I need to know if it gets a tail weight and belly weight or just the belly?

Do a float test before you seal it and see. I think just belly weight but depends on what the swimmer looks like too.

Depends on what type of swimmer your making and what lip you are using. How many hooks and where they're located. I would think a swimmer would not take a tail weight, but plugs like a Beach Master junior uses both a belly and tail weight. Depends if the plug will swim on the surface or how deep you want it to swim. I know, a lot to consider. Post more questions or pictures if you want more help.
