Just found out I'm taking a trip to Cayo Costa Fla to fish for a long weekend in October. I've fished inshore for snook, reds, trout ect in Fla before & have never seen anyone use a teaser like alot of people do up here. Anybody ever use or heard of anyone using them? I was thinking of possible giving it a try. Maybe going with a blurpe teaser in front of a bomber at night or maybe some sort of shrimp fly.

Also if anyone has ever fished in Cayo Costa any tips or stories on what it was like & how you did would be appreciated.

Nix the bobber and teaser idea and invest your money in live shrimp. If you want to use a teaser in front of your lure fine. But make sure it has atleast a 1/0 hook on it.

Don't need them

Like insomniac said, jumbo shrimp. Pinfish, mullet, ladyfish, or threadfin herring work also. Double jointed topwater plug if you don't have bait at night. Bucktails for inlets in the day

Good luck
