I believe the end at the cylinder is factory crimped. If your talking about the ends at the helm they are owner installed. Try tightening the nut on the helm end first. If that doesnt stop it you can disconnect the fitting and reinstall it an inch or two down the tube. Never cut it with a hack saw. Use a standard tubing cutter. If your talking about the motor/cylinder end then I would pull the line out and take it to a hydraulic shop. They will decide wether its better just to make you up a whole new line. It isnt that expensive. Refilling the helm and bleeding is tricky if you dont have the manual. Look for it online.my steering hose is leaking where the hose meets the fitting. i was wondering if i can cut the fitting off and crimp another fitting on? if so can they do it without taking it out?
