Started the night on the ebb south of OC. Dirty water and a real nice moving tide. 1st spot nothing going on. Short drive to a small bridge in the back bay payd off. Our striped friends were schooled up breakng water all over the place. The sods were loaded with feeding fish. The bank was not accesable by foot so I fished from the bridge. Casting a 4" white storm into skinny water(about 14" deep). I managed to catch 4 or 5 small bass. There were bigger fish spotted in the shadows, couldn't get them to hit. Decided to move south of Avalon and got rolled by a stif 35mph w**d. called it a night without a keep. Plenty of fish to be had in the back!
