What a nice surprise, to wake up this morning and hear the laughing gulls, as I went outside to grab the paper. We are close!

I am in Shawcrest(Wildwood). Not only did I see them, but there is no mistaking that sound. It was only about a half a dozen of them, but it was them.Where is this? Are you sure you were really awake?![]()

They are everywhere...cormorants are here all year...loons in the winter.See any (spelling) comerants? Loons? The black colored diving ducks? What ever you wanna call them... Flocks of comerants equals herring and herring equal FISH ON!!!!!!!!!! Give or take a couple weeks, depending on the temps.....Just hard to even think about it now with 2 feet of snow still in my boat!!!!!!!!!
Have not seen or heard a laughing gull in Stone Harbor since the late summer:huh:.There are more numbers around this morning. That squawking is sooo relaxing. There is no way Fred does not see and hear them this morning.
