Okay so I am now prepping my tackle in anticipation for the spring striper run. I spend alot of my winter time picking up new and replacing smaller lures that I know catch fish. During the spring run is when I use a majority of these smaller freshwater plugs that have treble hooks that are inadaquate for the saltwater . THE ONE THING I HATE is replacing all those small treble hooks and split rings.I always save this for the last of my winter prep because I hate it so much. Does anyone have a easy way to reattach the beefer hooks and split rings.?

alot of beer and split ring pliers, just did mine the other day with some vmc's

I have the pliers but I still get stuck about 4-5 times....everytime I do it.
