went down to the boat sat with the family to do some flounder fishing,then i notice electronics box busted open and my garmin 182c gone,cables cut and external aerial cable also cut,funny thing was ,they gave me this unit for fathers day last year.boat location 26 st and the bay ww in rented slip behind private home.dont get lazy and leave electronics onboard,take a min. and remove,cops blamed it on crackheads,hate to think it was fisherman,illbe lookin for a spliced ex cable.......seeya..paintman

Hey paintman, Sorry to hear about that, I was the guy across the canal who told you about the items stolen from me last weekend. I had a propane tank taken right off the grill and a gas tank taken right off the boat. I hope this is not a trend.

Sorry to hear about that, wish you'd of caught the bastids in the act. Sooner or later they'll get their just due, karma's got a way of catching up.
From now on I'll be sure to keep alert for any suspicious looking activity in the area.

Paintman, this is the 26 mako across the way, i'll be keepin an eye out for the summer. Hopefully, there is enough police activity around to stop anymore suspicious activity. The past 2 days i've seen them checking things out, hope they stay at it.

Ya just wanna sit all night..every night with a scope and pickem off as they steal....but then we'd be breaking the law. Can't set traps, can't shoot'em, and if you call the police they are gone before they get there. Thieves have rights...Isn't America great!!!

Sorry to hear guys. Our boat is in WW too at West Bay. We always take all electronics off.
