I do notice the CC guys are in better shape...:D

It is not for everyone..

So live your life that the fear of death may never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion, respect others in their views, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life and beautify all things in your life. Always give a word or sign of salute when meeting or passing a friend, even a stranger when in a lonely place. Show respect to all people but grovel to none. When you arise in the morning give thanks for food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault only lies with you. Abuse no one and no thing, for abuse turns the wise to fools and robs the spirit of it's vision. When it comes time to leave this life, prepare a noble death song and be not one of those who's heart is filled with fear of death. Do not weep and pray for more time to correct the wrongs in your life. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Is it me or is anyone else tired of this stupid debate? Who gives a **** what type of boat you fish on as long as you are out there doing what you love and having a good time.
lightly

I don't think it is a debate but just fun during some down time. All in good fun, gents.
You fish what you have or what you can afford.

We started fishing offshore in the mid-70s in 20', then 21', then 23' center consoles. We moved up to a 31' Bertram. If you fished hard, the ride was tough on the people on every one of those. We'd fish on the weekends and feel good by the next Wednesday.

Out of our group that fished together, I have two new hips and a bad back. I am paying for those trips in the little boats almost every day. The others have new knees, new hips, and bad backs. They are paying too.

We have paid the price of fishing small, light boats offshore but we fished. But that's what we had at the time.
ON A CALM DAY I LOVE TO RUN 50, 60MPH TO THE OFFSHORE GROUNDS!! IF ITS NASTY GIVE ME A BIG SLOW DIESEL. NICE TO HAVE THE OPTION OF BOTH JUST MY OPONION.
