Are the bass hitting artificials near dawn/dusk?
Is it still a bait game at this point? Do we need the water to warm up a little? My boat is finally in the water and I want to take a quick mid-week trip. Thanks for any advice.

Thanks. Sounds like the nightime is the right time. But right now I am more curious about the late day artificial action.

As the flats skiff was flying back to the dock this morning at daybreak and it just felt like a good topwater bite with that sun coming up and the water was a mirror.I think it is definitly worth a shot if you want to put in the time. Good tide right now for it too.Same goes for sunset too. Probrably a better chance at weaks too. The early evening bite for them has been productive this past week. Lure: 1 ounce super spook, speckled trout pattern worked violently from side to side should raise a few fish.
