The tropical storm warning for offshore areas including the Hudson and Baltimore canyons has been dropped. A small craft advisory remains in effect for the inshore waters with 3-5 foot seas expected.

Beryl has turned to the North northeast so the likelyhood of direct effects is rapidly diminishing. Increased surf, rip currents, and beach erosion are the only threats.

Beryl is currently holding winds of 60mph and a pressure of 1002mb

The surf has really waken up since I checked it out this morning while working on LBI. Right know there are swells up too about 7 feet.

Beryl has shifted and starting due north again, this should only be tempoary as she should turn north northeast and eventually northeast, possaibly making landfall on Cape Cod.

Due to Beryls temporary northward move last night, a tropical storm warning was re-issued for the offshore waters. with 35-55kt winds possible along with 20 foot seas.

Beryl is making her closest approach right now.
