Too nice of a day on sunday to watch Versus, and I am tied up next weekend, which is the last one you can fish until the season opens. If you can get out to any of the spots you found fish in the fall, they are hungry. Lot of snow and ice on the ground, so the spikes on the wading boots came in handy. Fished the Wissahickon in Philly for a couple hours and managed 3 decent trout, all on a little Rapala countdown worked real slow on the bottom. For once I actually brought a camera. Didn't get a pic of the biggest fish (of course) but I got one pic of a rainbow and a brownie. The brown must have held over from the spring because they don't stock browns this fall. Enjoy. It won't be long!

Def an adventure down there with all the trees down! Felt like an idiot crashing through virgin snow a few times, until I had the first fish follow a plug. I wish I could get out one more time before it closes until the end of March. I was pretty far downstream from Bell's, but if you caught fish in any of your spots this fall, and put them back again, they're hungry. Any bend in the rod is welcome this time of year.
