Warm good weather and haddock are coming, cod are always here. We still have openings in April and the ride is only 7-13 miles (15 to 30 minutes) to the fishing grounds.
If you limit out on the cod we won't come home and we will continue fishing for haddock for the rest of the day, which can be more abundant and are better eats than the cod.
April open dates are 16, 17 and 26 remaining and possibly April 15, and still have plenty of days in the second two weeks of May.
