Miss barnegate Light, Doris Mae are both out of LBI. Big Jamaica is out of Brielle. Not sure about the distances from your house, but these are all good boats that take limited loads. There are a bunch more, I'm sure you will get plenty of responces. :)

Jamaica in Brielle, Voyager in Point Pleasant Beach - a little more than 20 miles from you, but good reputations and more than an hour closer to the canyons than boats from Raritan Bay.

All the above are great boats. A few others, Sea Devil out of Pt Pleasant, cleanest and nicest bunk room. The Gambler is also nice too. They are both out of Pt Pleasant.

Miss Barnegat Light

Miss Barnegat Light on LBI. I've been offshore 5 times & out for blues/stripers over 50 times & never had a problem. Its a clean boat. Very fast & stable. They also have ice machine right on board. I'll be out this columbus day.....

We charter the Bandit out of Brielle every year. It's 77' and fast. Capt Scott is excellent . He will burn the diesel to find the fish. If you are interested the trip is the 3ed Sunday in September,$325 a person for a max of 16 people. We may have a slot.
Last year we caught 7 yellowfin for 4 guys, all 70 to 95 pounds. The trip is 24 hours of chunking. Call Jimbo at 732.986.4093 if you are interested and tell him you saw it on the Barn; ie Bob Miller.

If you want prime dates, and are picky and know when you want to go book now!

Doris mae fills up and sells out.. so does miss barnegat light..

They are all great boats as everyone has mentioned! but they all have a great following and great people who continue to utilize their boats the same time, same date every single year!
