Received a Shimano Saragosa SRG14000F for Christmas. The reel is capable of holding 600 yds/50lb braid, 390 yds/65 braid, or 315 yds/80 braid and capable of 44lbs of drag. What braided line should I put on it if I am targeting tuna in the 50-150 lb range? How much backing vs how much line, how much leader? Last question, I need a rod, any recommendations? Looking at something decent/towards upper end, thanks.

i have been using the OTI 60 and 80# colored jigging line.
its been working well for jigging.
a little momo backing is good to keep the braid from spinning on spool.

for a leader 6-10 ft is usually fine. i usually use 80#floro.

i have Great custom jigging rods form 229.

mid range customs 325 to 400

the upper end stuff is about 450+
