No secrets here, there's literally hours of reading on the subject from the days when this was a fishing site. I've a tied a bunch that I learned about here but always go back to the simple dropper loop with the sinker at the bottom.
I tie a 7” dropper loop.
cut one end near the knot
put on a red bead
snell the hook on so it’s 10-11” finished 3/0 bait saver
put 5” dropper for the sinker on one end a 24” with a Rosco swivel
l use paper clips to attach to the main line
tie a bunch and put in snack bags
I use 50lb mono and floro
Good luck
Small dropper about 4"s above a single surgeons loop. Then take a 24" piece of leader w/ a hook snelled on each side then double or triple surgeons/perfection loop so each leg is the same. Loop to loop your hook section to the dropper and a sinker on the bottom on the single surgeons loop.
Sinker should break off if need be. All the modern tog rigs are pretty much using the same layout just simpler/quicker ways of tying nowadays.
