Ugh!!!

Not so bad here in Brooklyn, we just got a light dusting, much to the chagrin of my daughter

we got hammered, i am guessing around 20"

I'm in South Jersey. We have about 24 easy and it's still snowing like mad. Thank God I have a snow blower.

What is this "snow" you speak of? ...and yes, SWA has awesome getaway flights to Dallas or if you're not a Cowboys fan:fighting:come on to Austin. Ladies Roller derby every Sunday night. If you're a young fella do yourself a favor and attend at least one Roller Derby after-party before you get married.

...it's still hard for me to believe that snow can break limbs off trees... I'm just sayin'... the closest we get to that is web worms.

Ahhhhh, near new blood!

Yep heavy snow can take down limbs and whole trees. Of course you would not know that, you get 110 degree heat and mudslides instead

Yeah, we're hatin' 64 degrees right now. Typically we get flash floods here in the Hill Country but yeah, the occasional mudslide.

Of course, women's roller derby is not new, I remember watching it on TV 25 years ago. I think it was in CA, and they called themselves the Bay Area Bombers. Tough bunch of girls.

Dallas is OK, but being from New England, this is Patriots Nation up here. I like a lot of teams, but what I look at is coaching, and most of all ownership. I root for teams that have a good program. Like the Patriots, Giants, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and so forth. Jerry Jones is not my idea of a class act. Neither are the Eagles, Redskins, or Raiders ownership. I thought what Jones did to Landry when he put Jimmy Johnson in there was a disgrace. Landry was a class act. Frankly I think they have fallen from the sloagan" America's Team ". Right now America's team is the Saints, and they earned it yesterday.

Just a hint, Stauback and Landry don't play for Dallas anymore

Jones isn't a class act by many Texan's standards either. I found out the big fancy football game was yesterday after talking with VFfishhead. meh, team sports. I would much rather clean the pot-o-jons after a taco & Wild Turkey (101 proof) festival enema marathon than sit and watch team sports UNLESS we're talking about co-ed naked beach volleyball.
