[Fish The Drop Off]

A Couple of guys want to go a fish Down there for some Tuna and I would like to know if anyone on the barn has done this and if they could recommend a Captain that they have used in the past.

Good article in this months Sport Fishing magazine which lists Venice as one of the top 6 Yellowfin sites in the world. While I have not gone there, I know Capt. Mike Ellis (Relentless Sportfishing- Venice) is a frequent contributor to The Hull Truth fishing Forum. You may want to give him a call.

Oh Ya. Venice is great for a long weekend. Reel Peace is the go to charter service. The rooms are much better then when I went down. We got down there a year after Kat. and there was two places to eat and one place to stay. I hope it's better now but it's no Fla. Keys, the guys at Reel Peace will hook you up with a room or stay on a house boat for some easier living. Good Luck!

if he gets the new one this year, i am headed down for a ride

There is a guy down there Capt. James who runs Osprey Charters, very knowledgeable. Absolutely awesome fishing. I am actually heading down there again in March looking for some big yellows.
