Let's keep the board active, it's been slow with the storm!

Hey, what do you think is that sweet spot in water temps. when the bass are really biting?

I remember last Fall waiting for the temp. to drop below a certain #, and then this Spring..waiting for it to come up to a certain #...

Last year, I did really well in November... around Thanksgiving. My last fish was caught the first week of December and she was sluggish!

Edit: referring really to backbay/inlet temps...

I would have to say anywhere in the 50's for
great backbay/inlet fishing for Bass....
I had them right on up to the end of the
year last year in water temps down to the
low to mid 40's....

A group of us went out with Skip the first week of January, water temps were in the low 40's, we got 30 fish that day.

In my experience when the water is around 55 they seem most active.
