As soon as I catch it,.............. I've been having dreams of fishing the " Creek" just as the sun comes up and hooking a Big Fat Cow in skinny water on a small freshwater diving crankbait with my flounder rod on 10 pound braid .

The guys fishing the river get them first because they are not prepping their bigger saltwater rigs for the season. Down in Pennsville and further south you will see them brought in the first week of March.

Not a DARN CLUE! With all the snow meltoff, consistent cold day and night-time temps, who knows? The first sunny day in the high forties, I'm dragging my boat down, if for no other reason than to run out the cobwebs! Maybe Mudcat's prediction of May 1st isn't so far off the mark............
