if someone could please either confirm or correct my thinking on this ?
Outgoing tide is good with a north wind, and incoming tide is good with a south wind ?
and how do the east and west wind affect the chop ?
what are you thinking for this weeknd ? its gonna be a lil breezy ? is it fishable ? or should i say will it be an enjoyable fishing day ?
thank you for your help

yes outgoing tide and north wind is good and incoming with south wind is good. SW and W winds over 15mph are hard to fish. NE winds stay closer to shore and you will be ok (also a NE on an outgoing tide is usually ok but can get choppy on an incoming tide.) This info is in regards from leaving from the jersey side of the bay and all depends on the size of your vessel.
