Barnegat Bay flounder fishing continues to be slooooooow. The last four days have been cloudy and for it has been drizzling all afternoon. The present weather pattern is not conducive to a good flounder bite. It will be time to get our after the next few bright sunny days.

The fish are more active on sunny days, I think they can see better. I think the rain fouls up the fishing, for winter flounder. I have caught a few on cloudy days also just not as many. I have not been out this year yet. It seems like everyday I can fish the weather is nasty
