We fished Friday, started at full flood, about 11am or so.Made 2 anchors, the first in 6ft then as tide fell off the flats, where the fish were feeding to 10ft at the last 1/3 of the tide.Chum heavy,2 pots, smash some clams and toss up tide and bounce your rod tip every couple minutes so your sinker kicks some bottom.I like to make my own chum, but Bill at My Wifes Tackle shop has great clam logs with corn in it and all.Baits were bloods, earthworms and clam strips, all were equal as bites went, but moving your rod tip was key!Double anchor so you swing,be on an edge and wait out the spot for at least 45min,if you get a few taps but dont hook up,wait a little longer. They are there and I'm back at it Sunday, call BAYHOUND on 69 if your out,I'll let ya know whats going on.
