Returning to my glory days of fishing, although not heading to the canyons so I am looking for a boat to keep on the C&D Canal and be able to run either to the Bay Bridge or down the Delaware Bay to the Lewes/Cape May area if needed.

Let's talk boats. Say I am coming from the very Upper Chesapeake Bay (C&D Canal area) what type of boat would be preferred? Something like a 27 Albemarle, 29 Blackfin Combi, 28 CC all with diesels or more of an older Grady White type with outboards?

I can only speak of the Albermarle cause I had one and a great boat but it will rock you hard. Even on a calm day it just will not settle down. If it does not bother you then a great boat and one of the smoothest running boats i have been on. I sat down and drank coffee on the way in in slop that had others coming in off plane and struggling.
