Well I don't want to get people upset so I will just say I smoked the weakies yesterday. I am a shore angler and still got 6 fat beauties. Non under 27.5inches. Biggest was 30 incher with a 15" girth. Can anyone figure out what the weight was with that calculation for length. All girths were no less than 14.5 inches and most were 15 to 15.5 girths. I am guessing some had to be in the 8-10 lb range but I am guessing as I dont' have any scale to check them out. I was fishing in ocean county so there you go. There were others catching fish too. I saw about 20 weakies caught so they are here. Yahoo.

I cut some stomachs open to see whats inside and just tiny shrimp. These guys are hungry only a few in there stomachs.

Well I might not be able to catch a keeper striper but I did great on the weakies.

Oh All were caught on 5 inch pink fin S fish.
all were peeling drag and were a blast. :D

Take care.

THe math works out to a little less than 8.5#
445supermag, nice catch!

Nightstrikes, nice call.

This calculator puts the 30"length/15"girth at 8.4 lbs.

Good job there Brian...
I think I can guess where... but I won't let the cat out of the bag yet... ;)
Otherwise you'll be dialing 911 endlessly so I don't get a chance to do my nightly scouting :D :D ;)

Thats music! Tried Sat, no luck. Gotta try this week.
Nice catch Supermag.

What tide and time of day did you fish?
WTG 445, great catch. On The Hook- stick to your 50lb.stripers and leave the weakies for us! LOL
Anybody know if the weakies will still bite during this storm while it's raining? Because I might make a run down tonight for the hightide.

Rich A, How you been? I haven't you one 7 bridges road in a long time. Are you still working nights? I bet you know where as with just about everyone else too. I don't mind the company either as I like it. Beats fishing alone. I rather fish with someone else who you can share in the whole experience with. Makes it more fun.

Bassvamp. thanks for the calculations. Well these were my biggest ever. No 10 lbers but deffinately my biggest so far. Last year was a dud for me for weakies as I only got 1 4.5 lber so it much better so far. I still have to get my keeper striper so I can finally taste what a striper tastes like. I hear its great.

Get out there they are on the move again and they disappear just as quick or atleast the big Girls do.

Good luck guys

Brian
[(GIRTH X GIRTH)X LENGTH]/800 ;)
Thanks Supermag, That is just what I was wanted to hear. Good Job!!
