My wife and I were fishing behind Avalon On Thursday. She caught a 17" 1.70 lb. kingfish on an 8/0 hooked tipped with a big hunk of bunker. The fish took it all the way down. Dave, at the Hodge Podge was surprised that the fish was still in the back and the size of it. You never know.

Last week I was fishing the Mullica river with 8/0's bunker and clam in the hopes of a striped one. Well we caught everything but. We had about 40 fish including....
A monster kingfish
A couple keeper weakfish
porgies, small seabass, a black drum, banded rudderfish, 3 foot long eels, croakers, a bluefish, something that looked like a hake, a few oyster crackers....you get the point.
Every fish that swims these waters except for a striper.
It surprised me alot, I never had a better day.
